Physiotherapist (Physical Therapist)
Dr Kevin Ho is a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinician. He completed his physiotherapy degree with honours at the University of Sydney in 2013. His clinical experiences include working at public hospitals, aged care facilities, home visits and private practice. He has mostly worked as a physiotherapist as part of multidisciplinary medical centre in Western Sydney. He also have a passion in helping people in video gaming industry (esports) and is involved in content creation with 1 Health Providence, an international team of health professionals with expertise in esports.
Dr Kevin Ho teaches Physiotherapy and Clinical Education at The University of Sydney. He completed his PhD about the relationship between sleep and musculoskeletal pain in 2020 at the University of Sydney, with a focus on spinal pain and osteoarthritis. Now he is researching the prevalence and management of musculoskeletal injuries in videogaming / electronic sports (esports). He teaches across the musculoskeletal units of the Undergraduate and Master physiotherapy programs, and is always delighted to mentor budding physiotherapists.
Gamer (Video games / Esports)
Last but not least, Kevin loves his video games. Since picking up a Gameboy Red at the age of five, he has played a myriad of pc, console and mobile games. Key competitive highlights include being ranked in Masters in Overwatch, Top 500 in Lucioball and being semi-decent at Super Smash Bros (Melee and Ultimate). Kevin has his own share of sinking many hours into MMORPGs, such as Maplestory and Guild Wars 2. He also streams games such as Valorant and Genshin Impact on Twitch, and is happy to chat about games, health, life - everything.
Oh, did someone say Dungeons and Dragons? HE LOVES D&D and is a Dungeon Master and wannabe voice-actor.
